Joanne formed Dash Paint Recycling in 2019. DASH seemed an appropriate name, David, Austin, Spencer & Harry as with their help and support, the business has gone from strength to strength, with the prospect of an extremely colourful future ahead.
Joanne Morgan has worked in the recycling industry for over 30 years. In that time Joanne realised the desperate need and an easy option for people to clear their old unwanted paint cans. Joanne’s past work experience included recycling card, paper wood, plastics, food, amongst other materials, Joanne and David have worked together in their speciality fields, with the help of contacts in the Industry, finding ways to recycle and utilise the waste paint. The Industry contacts and knowledge have proved invaluable in growing and developing Dash Paint into what it is today, in a specialist area that is set to grow.
David Morgan worked in the coating sales sector for over 25 years. David noted many customers having difficulty in clearing old paint from their stores and those that could were being charged extremely high fees for the service. He also noted that there wasn’t much transparency with what those companies were doing with the chemicals once they had taken them. A new approach was needed, collaboration with the recycling industry was a way forward.
